Yakira is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Her research interests include decision making, bias in engineering design, and engineering education. She holds a B.S. (2018) in Materials Science and Engineering and a Design Certificate from Northwestern University. In her free time, Yakira enjoys skiing and visiting art galleries.
