Douglas McGowan is a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley. His research interests include computational design: the encoding of product design logic and processes into smart computational systems. Basically, he’s interested in using AI to develop physical products and systems. With an undergraduate degree from Penn State, Douglas enjoys boxing, drumming for his church, traveling, and community building in his free time.
